The 2nd East African School of Internet Governance is to held in Kigali, Rwanda on September 04, 2023. The school aims to build and strengthen the knowledge and capacity of selected institutions to better understand internet governance and policy issues in the region.
Further, the school is to focus on cybersecurity concerns in the IG ecosystem with the aim of strengthening the role of actors in adopting strong cyber security systems and policy at both national and region level.
The topic was identified during last year’s EAIGF meeting in Arusha where cyber security came out strongly as one of the key issues that need to addressed both at national, regional and continental level.
